Try our gruesome Halloween dish

As Halloween creeps up upon us, one Milton Keynes restaurant is getting into the ‘spirit’ of things and put their minds together to bring customers a gruesome dish.

From the 27 October until Halloween night, Maaya Indian Kitchen & Bar in The Hub will be offering customers the chance to try Brain Curry! The grisly dish, considered a delicacy in some parts of the world, isn’t a normal feature on the popular restaurant’s menu but will be over the Halloween celebrations.

The lamb’s brain, marinated in 12 herbs and spices, is chopped into small cubes and slowly cooked in a tomato gravy to ensure each bite ‘matters’. Served with rice and a naan, the dish must be pre-ordered 24 hours before dining in and costs £15.95, which also includes a Zombie Cocktail or Mocktail.

For each Brain Curry ordered, 20% will be donated to Willen Hospice and staff will quadruple the total after Tuesday 31 October.

Lamb brain comes packed with nutrients and helps consume more minerals, vitamins, protein and healthy fat and can be eaten sauteed, pan-fried or boiled.

To order your Brain Curry, contact Maaya’s staff on 01908 242665 or email info@maayamiltonkeynes.com
